Asian Jungle Cane

$1,200.00

This walking stick is painstaking hand carved from Sambar deer antler, a large species of deer native to Southern Asia. Like their relatives the Sambar deer shed their antlers every year; it is an incredibly strong material, stronger than any wood. The handle is three mighty Asian elephants walking along their narrow path deep in the heart of the jungle. A divider of brass and camel bone leads into a spectacular shaft of figured rosewood. The rosewood is flame figured with incredible grain patterns. Also, this rosewood species is so rare an obscure that it doesn't have a common name, only its Latin scientific name of Dalbergia Lanceolaria. Total length measures 39" inches tall and can be shortened as needed.
