A piece from the “feather collection” of summer 2022; avian inspired canes implying motion and flight.

This heirloom quality cane is handcrafted using some colorful woods! The handle is Osage orange wood and the shaft is Verawood. The osage orange isn't the least bit orange, it's a super vibrant golden yellow color with a nice chatoyance. I like to think of this cane as the "gold finch". The shaft is a Verawood, the greenest wood in the world, and a close relative of lignum, almost always referred to simply as "lignum".
The cane is designed with both aesthetics and comfort in mind, It's the best of both worlds: a work of art that is comfortable to use. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
