This one-of-a-kind stick is made out of classic North American materials. The handle is claro walnut from California, it has handsome alternating bands of colors and a fine chatoyance. inlayed into the top is a lapidary cabochon of landscape jasper from Idaho, its patterns look like rolling hills. A divider of maple burl leads into a "Chocolate chip" birdseye maple shaft that is carved into a spiral. The top is suitable for most hand sizes with a maximum diameter of 2 inches (52mm) with a rounded top that fits in the palm nicely. It is completed with a handsome ferrule bottom and low profile rubber tip, total length measures 38 1/4" and can not be adjusted.
