This traditional style cane stand is the perfect way to display your cane collection. 100% hand made from solid Mahogany wood, an iconic fine furniture species. As is standard for all of my work, the finish on this stand is clear, not stained with a color. Most mahogany furniture is stained with a dark color that hides the wonderful grain of the wood and its natural chatyoancy.

The top and bottom of this stand are cut from a single wide piece of mahogany lumber. It's a subtle detail but the grain is continuous across the top and bottom without glue lines; to the discerning eye it's an indication of quality materials and one-off craftsmanship.

The stand's round shape is designed to provide ample viewing space to show off its contents. Spacing of the holes gives each cane plenty of room and helps prevents unintentional collision while replacing a cane. The bottom of this piece is a continuous concavity, it holds the bottom of the canes in place nicely and gives a different look than individual recesses found on my other round stands.
