Curly Rosewood and Kingwood Cane

$600.00

This beauty of a cane features an unidentified rosewood species with curl figure and a Brazilian Kingwood shaft. We think the handle is Dalbergia Oliveri, one of S. E. Asia's very rare and obscure rosewood species that is completely unknown in the rest of the world, but we're not sure. Dalbergia Oliveri is the Latin scientific name for the species, we use this name because it is so rare that it doesn't have a common name. For example, the shaft on this cane is Brazilian Kingwood but its scientific name is "Dalbergia Cearensis". All of the true rosewoods are "Dalbergia" species. All that said, this is just a beautiful cane with amazing colors, grains, and extremely unique. The curls in the handle are very chatoyant and dynamic. It measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
