Oliveri Rosewood Cane

$700.00

This heirloom quality cane is handcrafted from a rosewood species so obscure that it doesn't have a "common name" in the Western world, only its Latin scientific name: Dalbergia Oliveri. It's dense and durable, rich in warm color, and is chatoyant. The handle is laminated with a center piece of curl figured Oliveri rosewood and two thin layers of bright satinwood for an interesting contrast. The divider has two layers of matching curl figured Oliveri, four layers of brass, and a center piece of Hainan Rosewood. Hainan Rosewood is the worlds rarest and most expensive wood, and its easy to see why with such amazing grain patterns and colors. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
