Here is a high-contrast curl cane with a black ebony handle and quilted maple shaft. The handle is Nigerian Ebony, one of the most desirable and well-regarded woods in the world for its unique, natural blackness. This slow growing wood is very dense and unless held under bright light looks totally black. The shaft is quilt figured with amazing “bubbly” looking grain with excellent chatoyancy- amazing wood! It is not pristine and does have a few defects, but its overall appearance is outstanding. A fully functional cane, appropriate for daily use by most anyone.
