A unique and attractive curl cane made using vibrant purpleheart wood and beautiful quilted maple. Purpleheart wood is a well known and highly regarded exotic wood that is naturally a vibrant purple color, it is very dense and has a shimmery, chatoyant grain as well. The quilted maple shaft has a strong 3D effect in its grain, this wood is very chatoyant and has a lot of perceived motion as its moved around in the light. There is an area with a few filled - in void defects in the shaft that are photographed in the second to last image. This is a medium weight cane but on the lighter side, it feels easily carried and nimble, suitable for most any user and is daily use appropriate. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
