Black and White Ebony with Pietersite Cane
Black and White Ebony with Pietersite Cane
This exhibition quality, hand crafted walking cane is made from "Black and White Ebony" a very rare ebony species from Laos with stunning black veins running randomly through creamy colored wood. This is the highest contrast wood in the world and this is a great looking example of the species. The shaft is black West African Ebony, one of the most sought after woods in the world for its unique, natural blackness - and it matches perfectly with the black lines in the handle. Completed with brass accents and a lapidary end piece of Pietersite from Namibia. This rare semi-precious stone is very sparkly and chatoyant, a dynamic reaction to changes in lighting, and it show rich blues, green, golden and red colors! It’s a fairly heavy one with a substantial feel, users of small stature may not enjoy using it for extended periods of time. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
