Dinosaur Bone, Rosewood, and Ebony Cane
Dinosaur Bone, Rosewood, and Ebony Cane
Wow! This classy and eye-catching cane is a collection of wonderful materials. The handle is the best quality black line figured Mexican Cocobolo rosewood. Quite rare these days as most cocobolo is less colorful, and bland grain. The end of the handle is adorned with Utah dinosaur bone (yes, its bone from a dinosaur!). The bone has fossilized into stone after millions of years in the desert and has taken on a unique array of black and orangey-reds that match the rosewood. The original cell structure of the bone is still clearly visible after the long, slow process of replacement fossilization into agate. The shaft macassar ebony, another great wood. Medium in weigh, could be used by most anyone. Total length measures 38" and can be shortened to fit.
