Osage Orange Eagle Talon Cane
Osage Orange Eagle Talon Cane
This ebony and Osage orange wood cane has an edgy, eye-catching presence. Its handle is Osage orange wood from Argentina and its color is a bright golden yellow. The shaft is a rare and naturally black piece of ebony wood from Indonesia. Both of these wood are dense and durable. This would make a nice daily use cane with a comfortable handle shape. It’s weight is medium for my work, so it has the substantial feel of a cane made with quality hardwoods, but its not too heavy for most people to carry and enjoy. Its daily use appropriate. A good handle shape for hanging over the forearm for hands-free. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
There are two small areas near the bottom of the shaft that are a dark brown color, not totally black, they are photographed.
