A very attractive rosewood cane here, full of rich warm colors and beautiful grain. The handle is Caribbean rosewood (Chechen) and the shaft is Mexican rosewood (Granadillo). Both of these woods are dense, durable, chatoyant and rosewood-like in color and grain qualities, but are in fact not biologically related to true rosewood species. They are similar in many ways to Rosewood but are not as rare or expensive, and often used in substitution for the now all but exhausted rosewoods. Still, excellent woods on their own. The divider a warm layer of copper. An excellent daily use cane with a sturdy and quality feel. It has a Danish oil finish that is smooth and natural feeling. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
