Birdseye Rosewood Cane
Birdseye Rosewood Cane
This cane is handmade using museum-worthy birdseye figured Siamese rosewood. Without figure Siamese rosewood is one of the most coveted and scarce of all woods, its also one of the most colorful, dense, and stable of all the rosewoods making it an excellent material. This figured example is exquisite and something I consider “once in a lifetime wood”. The shaft is Cocobolo from Mexico, a complementing red color and also a dense, durable rosewood, a fine example. This cane is built to be used and enjoyed. It can be used daily and would function well for that purpose but classy enough for the most formal occasions. In hand It has the substantial feel of something made out of quality materials.
