The handle of this cane has is an example of desert ironwood with straight grain. This is not just a beautiful wood its also extremely dense and durable and a great choice for a daily use walking cane. In the divider are layers of brass and a center of a different desert wood from Australia, Gidgee with curl figure. The shaft is dark and handsome macassar ebony from Indonesia. This cane is smooth and natural feeling with a matte Danish oil finish.
