This ebony and purpleheart cane has an elegant presence. Its handle is very dark Macassar ebony which is a rare and special wood. The shaft is purpleheart wood with a wonderful and totally natural color. This beloved exotic wood comes from S. America and lives up to its name perfectly. Both of these wood are dense, heavy, and durable. This would make a nice daily use cane. It’s weight is medium for my work, so it has the substantial feel of a cane made with quality hardwoods, but its not too heavy for most people to carry. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
