Ebony and Sapele Cane
Ebony and Sapele Cane
Here is a beautiful ebony and Sapele traditional walking cane with handsomely striped grain. Macassar ebony is rare and one of the most prized woods around the world. Its beautiful grain is dark but striped and has a variety of warm colors ranging from black, into chocolate browns, into orangey browns. Macassar ebony is also very dense, durable, and an ideal wood for a strong walking cane that will last for generations. The shaft is Sapele wood which is very similar in appearance and grain qualities to mahogany, but comes from Africa and is denser. Sapele has a very chatoyant and rich looking grain. In the divider is a solid layer of warm copper. Would make an excellent daily use cane.
