Honduran Rosewood Cane
Honduran Rosewood Cane
Here is a handsome cane crafted exclusively from Honduran rosewood, one of the classic rosewood species from Central America. This dense, stable, and attractive wood has been in high demand for centuries, today the species is classified as critically endangered. Its a protected species with hopes of allowing the tree to repopulate its native the central American forests. Its timber is still available in the United States, but its scarce, very expensive, and has now been in storage for many years. This cane would make a great daily use piece and its neutral, brown colors can be both casual or formal. Its weight is medium and usable by most anyone, but it has the substantial feel of a cane made from dense, quality hardwood. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
