This eye-catching ebony walking cane is made using unique Kalimantan ebony from the S. E. Asian Island of Borneo. This rare ebony is very dense and heavy and extremely scarce, a unique variety of ebony wood. Its appearance is also unique, it has a chatoyant grain and in bright light it has green highlights in the grain. But of course the shaft is this one has something else going on, its split almost perfectly 50/50 with a gently meandering black line of separation between heart wood and sapwood. The sapwood is the light beige part on the whole front of the shaft which is also speckled with little insect holes. Cane weight is weight is on the heavier side, users of small statue may not enjoy using it, it will feel substantial and sturdy in hand. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
