This is a handsome walking cane made using unique Kalimantan ebony from the S. E. Asian Island of Borneo. This rare ebony is very dense, heavy and extremely scarce, a unique variety of ebony wood. Its appearance is also unique, it has a chatoyant grain and green highlights in the grain. This wood is also called “green ebony”. Wood like this is a special opportunity, once its gone it’ll be gone for good. My current stock of Kalimantan ebony wood was purchased directly from the importer and it was his last pieces, He was the only person in United states that had this wood and he imported it several decades ago.

This would make a good daily use cane with its comfortable handle and durable materials, or a fine special occasion piece. Its weight is on the heavier side but still could be carried by most people. It feels sturdy, supportive and high-quality. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
