This is quite an exotic walking cane made using two obscure ebony species with gorgeous grains and a pop of red rosewood. The handle is one of the rarest and most coveted of the ebonies, its Mun ebony from S. E. Asia, now a highly protected and critically endangered species. This species can have incredible landscape effect to its grain with black line figure, as seen here, a handsome example of this special wood. The shaft is black and white ebony wood from Laos, the highest contrast wood in the world with pitch black veins running randomly through cream colored wood. This shaft has excellent and consistent figure throughout, also a great example of the species. Cane weight is on medium, suitable for most users to enjoy, it’ll feel like a quality product made out of sturdy hardwood. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
