Rambutan Cane
Rambutan Cane
Here’s a cane rich with color and figured wood grains. The handle is Rambutan wood that is figured with different shades of color and grain patterns swirled together beautifully. This tree is best known for its edible fruit! It was a wild growing tree on the big island of Hawaii. Sapele is basically just like mahogany wood but a little denser and more durable yet has the same chatoyant and shimmery qualities. This is a great daily use cane with a Danish oil finish . Its weight is medium but on the lighter end, nimble and easily caried, but sturdy and suitable for most anyone to use, it has the feel of a quality, hardwood cane. Total length measures 38” and cane be shortened to fit.
