Red Chacate and Zambezi Teak Cane
Red Chacate and Zambezi Teak Cane
Here is a cane full of color and attractive wood grains. The woods are all obscure species, in fact the handle is only my second with this wood called “Red Chacate” from Mozambique. Its very dense and durable with a chatoyant quality and warm color. The divider is Buloke from Australia, oriented to show its unique end grain. The shaft is Zambezi teak wood, another obscure one from Southern Africa. This teak wood is very dense and durable as well. A little heavier cane than average, but sturdy and durable. Its completed with a smooth Danish oil finish. Total length measures 38” and can be shortened to fit.
