A gallery quality piece of functional artwork, “Dragon’s Fire” demands everyone’s attention! It is a staff standing nearly 55 inches tall which is held from the side. The handle, which resembles a dragon’s tale, is fabulous two-toned Amboyna burl from Vietnam and the shaft is my best quality black line figured Cocobolo rosewood. The red colors are like fire from top to bottom! Its also a heavy piece, as these are dense woods, it feels substantial in the hand. At the bottom of the shaft is a brass ferrule with a low profile rubber foot which matches the brass divider with ebony. Truly a one of a kind.
